Environmental rooms are ideal for steady state temperature and humidity testing, stability and shelf life testing, cold room labs, and incubation. Rooms can be designed to include heating, refrigeration, humidification, dehumidification, and lighting to accommodate a variety of applications. Lunaire's expertise in environmental rooms control allows you to specify an environmental room in any configuration to perfectly fit your needs. From conception, our engineers will work with you to analyze your requirements, develop an efficient system, and design a room that is logical in application as well as sturdy, durable, and functional. Our flexible, interlocking panelized construction can easily accommodate any arrangement and a variety of heights. The strong, lightweight panels provide optimum insulation, the stability to add on or rearrange, and years of worry-free service. Conveniently located control panel allows easy monitoring of all room functions, while state-of-the-art controls provide precise regulation of the simulated environment.
Custom-engineered room with complete programming of temperature, humidity, and light intensity. The airflow is vertical down through a raised stainless floor. Tongue-and-groove panel incorporates an inherent thermal break that eliminates the possibility of metal-to-metal transfer of heat from the interior to the exterior. Cam lock fasteners draw opposing panels tightly together for an impenetrable seal and permit quick assembly. Features
Wall System The wall plenum system provides superior airflow control and is typically used where highly uniform conditions are required. Wall systems can be rear or side mounted. Typical airflow is accomplished by means of a full ceiling-mounted air distribution unit that circulates the conditioned air vertically downward through the room and returned to the wall conditioning plenum via the return air grill at floor level. Wall systems provide temperature uniformity up to +/- 0.3°C as well as expanded temperature and humidity ranges. Ceiling System Ceiling systems are typically used when floor space, furniture, or loading arrangement constraints prohibit use of a wall plenum. A factory modified, low velocity unit cooler in the ceiling plenum conditions the air, which is discharged into a full ceiling air distribution unit. The air is circulated vertically downward through the room and returned to the center or rear return air section of the unit cooler. The economical ceiling system is generally limited to moderate humidity requirements and temperature uniformity of +/- 0.75°C. Stability Test Chambers
